Community Contact and Outreach
We have a coffee morning every Thursday that is open to any member of the public. We are open from 10:30 A.M.
Every fortnight a group called "Dabblers" meets from 2:00 until 4:00 on a Thursday to which people bring their favourite hobbies and crafts and do them together. Again, this is a relaxed occasion to which neighbours and friends can easily be invited.
As a joint venture with St. Andrew's Church we have launched a "Say One For Me" leaflet. Over a two year period we are reaching every home in the village inviting people to let us know if they have needs for prayer. Any requests are treated in strict confidence by a group of just six people. Prayer is offered simply as a service to the community and those who ask for prayer are visited only if they request this.
