Children & Youth

Under-18s are very welcome to share in worship at any time, and on most Sunday mornings an optional Bible class is also available for them during part of the service.

At present we are not able to cater for all ages mid-week, but there is a very active club on Friday evenings in term-time, run in two sections, for ages 4-7 at 4:45 P.M., and for ages 8-11 at 6:00 P.M. Each session lasts an hour, and includes games and crafts, plus a Bible-based story, discussion, or film. All staff are trained in "Safe to Grow" procedures (the Baptist Union's guidelines for the protection of children and those who work with them) and all staff in regular contact with children obtain the criminal record disclosures that are now a legal requirement.

In the summer holidays, we run a one week Holiday Bible Club for children which is very popular in the village - especially with parents!
